Into the Night: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Roger Moore Tribune News Service A European riff on the "End of Days" disaster movie formula that plays by the rules and rarely disappoints. Rated: 3/4 May 9, 2020 Full Review Into the Night: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Pradeep Menon Firstpost Into the Night is a show that raises more questions than it answers, and any nuance contained within its audacious premise is hidden by layers upon layers of character backstories, subplots, and simply the next impossible-seeming hurdle... Oct 16, 2023 Full Review Into the Night: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Jonathon Wilson Ready Steady Cut This unusual blend of high-concept ecological calamity with the tight suspense of a heist thriller is what gives Into the Night its enjoyably pacey rhythm Rated: 3.5/5 Jun 26, 2020 Full Review Into the Night: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Sebastian Zavala Kahn No Es En Serie Brief, tense, exciting, and somewhat absurd but credible enough. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 4/5 Jun 4, 2020 Full Review Into the Night: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) John Serba Decider Into the Night may be silly, but it's amusing, and remarkably watchable. I'd say give it another episode or two, but if it keeps blitzkrieging along like this, you'll be through the whole shebang before you know it. May 11, 2020 Full Review Into the Night: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Adrian Hennigan Haaretz "Into the Night" has no pretentions at being anything other than a "park your brain at the door and climb aboard" ride, but boy is it a mess. Benz D It really jumps all over the place. The female “leader” sucks at acting…Or maybe she just sucked playing the role ; definitely can’t stand the female role of a leader in this show. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Sam A Interesting concept. Hooks you in from the start. Lots of tense moments. Just when I was wondering how they can string out the series on a plane trip alone, there are moments where they are off the plane. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/10/24 Full Review Michael Antony A Mikey's TV Review: Into The Night (2020)Brussels. When an armed NATO officer forces his way onto a commercial flight bound for Moscow during boarding, demanding they fly West, Sylvie, a former army helicopter pilot volunteers to assist the Captain. Once airborne, the explanation turns out to be even more frightening than the hijacking...Over 6 episodes, this quirky Belgian/ Polish production manages to ramp up the tension throughout. Each situation more preposterous than the last, but with a playfulness and believability that belies it's obviously limited budget. The cast, both likeable and detestable in equal measure, means as a viewer your loyalties are torn and tested too. And while, you might see the ending coming, your guess is as good as mine who will make it and who won't. Based on the digital novel 'The Old Axolotl' by Jacek Dukaj, we can only surmise which flight of fantasy and direction Season 2 might take us in. Tip: Watch it in the original French! Mikey's TV Rating: Worth a trip! 4/5* Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/26/23 Full Review const K Seems like a version of The Langoliers by Stephen King. Even the food going off is taken directly from it...just a different premise Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/17/23 Full Review A Okay, I like sci-fi a lot. But the "sci" part has to be at least partially based in reality! Where were the technical advisors? The inconsistencies in this series were painful!!! We know EXACTLY how to shield for gamma radiation. Lead, concrete, and water (and could have looked that up on YouTube). They were LITERALLY IN A HOSPITAL!!! Hospitals have lead-shielded radiology departments!! That would have been near food (canned food only somehow, even though that isn't shielded properly). At the very least, anyone who has ever had an x-ray would know that radiology departments have lead shielding aprons and other shielding devices. Somehow everyone underground without water on top dies, but the fuel that was underground was okay? None of this makes any sense. Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/03/23 Full Review Bonobo J Interesting idea, but no passenger plane can fly fast enough to stay ahead of the sunrise. But then I've only watched the 1st episode. Perhaps they have an explanation for this later on...lol...by the way the earth rotates at 25,000 mph.
