Aer Lingus has expanded its flight services with the launch of new routes to Mexico from Bristol Airport. The airline's inaugural flight to Cancún, Mexico, took off yesterday, marking a significant addition to the travel options available from the UK. This new route will operate three times weekly, connecting Bristol with nine other UK airports, including Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, London Heathrow, Manchester, and Southampton, via Dublin. The service is available until April 29, offering a convenient escape for those seeking a winter getaway. Cancún, a popular tourist destination, is renowned for its stunning beaches, clear waters, and rich cultural heritage. Aer Lingus' Chief Customer Officer, Susanne Carberry, highlighted the destination's appeal, stating that it caters to the growing demand for winter sun while also providing a blend of history, culture, and cuisine. Carlos Trueba Coll, Director of Cancún Airport, welcomed the new route, emphasizing its potential to enhance cultural and economic ties between the regions. Beyond its natural beauty, Cancún is a food lover's paradise, offering a unique culinary experience.
